Monitoring with clear rules
What Pacevane records, who can see it, and how it is protected.
What is recorded
Only while a timer runs: the active time entry, keyboard and mouse activity as counts per minute (never the keys pressed), the name and window title of the active application, the address of the active website, and screenshots at the interval your workspace sets. Nothing is recorded while the timer is stopped, and nothing is recorded from webcams or microphones.
Who sees it
Each person sees their own data. Team managers see their team. Workspace admins and the owner see the workspace. Pacevane staff only access a workspace to resolve a support request, and every such access is logged.
Your controls
Screenshots on or off and blurred or clear, per workspace and per person. App and website tracking on or off. Idle detection after a chosen number of minutes. People can delete their own screenshots when the workspace allows it, and every deletion is logged.
How it is protected
TLS everywhere. Passwords hashed with bcrypt. Sessions rotate on every refresh. Screenshots are stored on encrypted disks and served only through signed links that expire within an hour. Backups are encrypted and kept for 30 days.
Where it lives
Pacevane is hosted on servers in a region chosen at sign-up. Data stays in that region. Deleted workspaces are removed from live systems within 30 days.
Compliance
Pacevane is built to support GDPR, the UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act and the CCPA. A data processing agreement is available on request. Tell your team what is tracked: the what is tracked page is written for them.

Our team answers security questionnaires and data processing requests within two working days.
