Account and billing

API access

The REST API behind the web app is available to the Premium plan and up with personal tokens. Admins create tokens under Settings, API; a token acts as the person who created it and can read and change whatever that account can.

Authentication

Send the token in the Authorization header on every request:

  • Authorization: Bearer pvk_...

Responses are JSON. Dates in queries are YYYY-MM-DD in the workspace timezone; times in responses are ISO 8601 in UTC.

Useful endpoints

  • GET /v1/reports/summary?from=&to= totals for the range: hours, activity, people.
  • GET /v1/reports/hours?from=&to= hours per day, per person and per project.
  • GET /v1/reports/apps?from=&to= web and app usage with productivity ratings.
  • GET /v1/reports/attendance?from=&to= attendance per person and day.
  • GET /v1/time/entries?userId=&from=&to= time entries of one person (managers: any person in their teams).
  • GET /v1/time/timesheet?from=&to= the team timesheet summary.
  • GET /v1/users, GET /v1/teams, GET /v1/projects, GET /v1/tasks?projectId=, GET /v1/clients.
  • GET /v1/screenshots?userId=&date= screenshots of one person for one day, with signed image links that expire within an hour.
  • GET /v1/payroll/runs payroll runs; GET /v1/payroll/runs/{id} the lines of one run.

Example:

  • curl -H "Authorization: Bearer pvk_..." "https://app.pacevane.com/v1/reports/hours?from=2026-11-01&to=2026-11-30"

Limits and safety

Requests are rate limited per token like a signed-in session. Revoke a token under Settings, API when a script retires; every token's last use is shown there and creation and revocation are in the audit log.
